My name is Udaya Athukorala.
I’ve been living in Japan since 1995 and currently run several businesses across various industries. I’m deeply passionate about strengthening Sri Lanka–Japan relations, creating employment opportunities for Sri Lankan expatriates, and empowering underprivileged youth through sports development initiatives.

I’m a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader based in Tokyo, with over two decades of experience across diverse industries including international trade, real estate, recycling, and automotive auctions. I currently serve as President or Director of several companies including WoodVille Trading Co. Ltd, Taihou Plant, and PGN Co. Ltd.
Fluent in English, Sinhala, and Japanese, I am passionate about strengthening Sri Lanka–Japan relations, creating employment opportunities for Sri Lankan expatriates, and supporting underprivileged youth through sports initiatives.
